Seaway 7 today announced the publication of its Annual Report for the year ended 31 December 2021.  The Annual Report is accompanied by the Group’s Sustainability Report for 2021, which was also published today. These are the Company’s first reports since the combination between OHT and Subsea 7’s renewables business unit in October 2021 which formed the new Seaway 7. Read the reports here.

Seaway 7 ASA has today confirmed the award of a sizeable(1) contract by China Steel Power Corporation Ltd for the transport and installation of the submarine cable system of the Zhong Neng Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan. The award, first announced on 16th July 2020, is now confirmed with the project developers reaching final investment decision today and will now be included in the Seaway 7 backlog. Seaway 7 is pleased to announce that today the steel cutting ceremony took place for its next generation Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV) at the China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI) facility in Jiangsu, China. The ceremony marks the first major milestone in bringing its GustoMSC NG-14000XL-G jack-up vessel to the market. Seaway 7 ASA is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a sizeable (1) contract by Dogger Bank Wind Farm for the transport and installation of monopile foundations and transition pieces on the third phase of the Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm, Dogger Bank C. The company will utilise their specialist Heavy Lift Vessel Alfa Lift, and offshore installation will commence in 2024 following the installation of the Dogger Bank A and B phases. 11 October 2021: The first turbine jacket foundation has been installed at Seagreen – Scotland’s largest and the world’s deepest, fixed bottom offshore wind farm. Oslo – 7 October 2021 – Seaway 7 ASA is pleased to announce that they have been selected as a preferred contractor by Ørsted for the transport and installation of wind turbine generators for part of the Gode Wind 3 and Borkum Riffgrund 3 offshore windfarms in Germany. The installation will utilise the company’s jack-up installation vessel VIND1, and the projects are expected to be fully commissioned in 2024 and 2025.
