Seaway 7 successfully completed the first mock-up trials for the Hollandse Kust Zuid (HKZ) Offshore Wind Farm project

The expected offshore start date for the project is still roughly a year ahead of us, but Seaway 7 together with Sif Group and Vattenfall took the opportunity to engage in this mock-up at an early stage. All parties have gained valuable insights in the design of the HKZ foundations and inter-array cables, in addition to obtaining design input for the further development of the installation tools and cable installation auxiliaries. A second series of mock-up trials is scheduled for next year.
